Rebecca McClannahan, DVM

Dr. Rebecca McClannahan is originally from Texas, attending Texas A&M University to earn her bachelor’s degree in biomedical sciences in 1998, and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 2002. 

She began as a veterinarian in Wylie, Texas, then in 2004 started here at Southridge Animal Hospital. After a few years in north Texas, she moved to the Austin area to be closer to family and worked there for over a decade before coming back to Southridge in the fall of 2020. 

Her hobbies include various music- and art-related endeavors, and getting out in nature when it’s finally cool enough outside.
